Lutosławski: Concertos for Cello / for Orchestra, Bloch: Schelomo

I imagine this release arrives as a farewell of sorts.

Gustavo Gimeno concluded his decade-long tenure as Music Director of the Luxembourg Philharmonic at the close of the 2024–2025 season, and this 2023 recording might as well be one of his farewell recording with the Luxembourg Philharmonic. And it is a significant one: two Lutosławski concertos bookending Bloch's Schelomo, with Jean-Guihen Queyras as soloist throughout.
