DISPATCH #3
When nature and music combine. Exploring studio albums recorded outdoors.
...What fascinates me in those albums is that you're listening to someone making music in a real place, not in an acoustically isolated studio. There are imperfections, and they are beautiful. There is spontaneity that's almost impossible to capture in a studio. And the music becomes part of its surroundings...

DISPATCH #2
What are you listening for? Our musical anchors.
...Here's the part I find interesting: we build that anchor over years, usually without naming it. And it quietly decides what music reaches us, regardless of how good it objectively is...

DISPATCH #1
One-mic recordings. When the mix is happening live.
...But what I love most about one-mic recordings is that there's nowhere to hide. There's one mic, one take, no overdubs, no studio magic. It's performance in the purest sense...

Why TrueResAudio
TrueResAudio was born from a simple idea: To bring back the kind of music publication I grew up reading.
One built on curiosity, careful listening, and the joy of discovering an album through another music explorer.
I still remember the feeling of finally receiving a new issue of my favourite magazine, flipping to the last page, where my favourite critic had a column, and hearing about the albums that caught his ear, learning some interesting facts about them, and getting excited about a particular record so much that I'd rush to my local record store to get it.
I miss that trust. The connection. The feeling how reading about a particular release would set my heart on fire...
I want to bring it back, and I truly hope that TrueResAudio will become such magazine for you.

Selective. I don't try to cover every release. Every album I feature has earned its place through repeated listening, and I strongly believe that it's worth your time.
Judgemental. Every recommendation reflects my own opinion. If an album is featured, it's because I genuinely think it's worth hearing.
Independent and member-supported. You won’t see any ads here. I include no affiliate links, and there is no commercial pressure from anywhere to feature or glaze a particular album.
