Tetragon (Remaster 2026)

Tetragon captures Joe Henderson in a fertile period of his career, working with two different quartets across sessions recorded in 1967 and 1968. Ron Carter anchors both lineups on bass, with Don Friedman and Jack DeJohnette on one date and Kenny Barron with Louis Hayes on the other.

The music sits firmly in the post-bop tradition, but it never feels confined by it.
